Why it matters to a client

• Work carried out without the relevant authorisation cannot be accepted at handover and cannot be entered in the building’s technical record.
• After an event — fire, failure, accident — the insurer checks whether the work was carried out by a company authorised for that field.
• The authorisation also sets the limits: a certificate for boilers up to 400 kW does not cover a 2 MW plant. That is why the scopes here are written with their parameters, not only with their names.
• When several parts of a project fall under different authorisations, one company can carry them all out only if it holds all of them.
