What the authorisation covers
- OISS_130 — technical supervision in service of installations and equipment falling under ISCIR, owned or used by holders and operators (RSVTI)
- PTA1 — installation, assembly, repair and maintenance, in-service technical inspections of fuel-burning appliances up to 400 kW, hot water boilers up to 400 kW and low-pressure steam boilers up to 0.6 t/h (RSL + RVT)
- PTC1 — installation, assembly and repair of steam boilers (max 180 bar; 130 t/h; 540 °C) and hot water boilers (max 35 bar; 50 Gcal; 180 °C) (RSL + RTS)
- PTC1 + PTC9 — maintenance by chemical cleaning of boilers (steam boilers above 0.5 bar and hot water boilers above 110 °C) (RSL)
- PTC2 — installation, assembly, repair and maintenance, in-service technical inspections of gas and liquid fuel burners up to 25,000 kW (RSL + RVT)
- PTC4 — repair of fixed metal pressure vessels (V ≤ 280 m³; max 40 bar; −30 °C to 540 °C) (RSL + RTS)
- PTC6 — assembly and repair of metal pipework for fluids (max 180 bar; −50 °C to 540 °C) (RSL + RTS)

What this certification means
ISCIR is the Romanian state authority that regulates, licenses and inspects pressure equipment, lifting installations and fuel-burning appliances. Without an ISCIR licence, a company has no legal right to install, repair or inspect such equipment.
For a client this means that work on boiler plants, pressure vessels or steam pipework can be commissioned and registered without bringing in a third party. The scope covered is listed below, with the pressure, temperature and capacity limits set out in the technical prescriptions.
