What the authorisation covers
- Design, installation and commissioning, inspection and maintenance of technical equipment and installations operating in potentially explosive atmospheres
What this certification means
INSEMEX Petroșani is Romania's national institute for safety in potentially explosive atmospheres and for the explosion protection of equipment.
The certification covers work in ATEX classified zones — fuel stations, chemical plants, paint shops, silos — where installations are built to rules quite different from the rest of a building.
