What this certification means
ISIM Timișoara is Romania's national research institute for welding and materials testing, and the body that qualifies welders and welding procedures.
A welded joint on a steam line or a process installation is made to a qualified procedure, by a welder approved for that process and material — otherwise the work cannot be accepted.
